A few highlights: Grubhub promotes its partnership with “MasterChef,” the reality TV show, on MasterChef Table, a virtual restaurant. (Ally Marotti of Ad Age sibling publication Crain’s Chicago Business covered the launch back in June: “Grubhub is launching its own ghost kitchen with recipes from ‘MasterChef’ winners.”) The 1990 eurodisco classic “Everybody Everybody” by Black Box serves as the soundtrack for a stylish Kohl’s spot focused on denim fashion. And Popeyes hypes its 11-piece Signature Chicken box—for when “a fam just wants Popeyes for dinner.”

As cord cutting continues to rise, advertisers are challenged on how best to track and measure audience reach and engagement, in particular across CTV and TV. National Cinemedia Strikes Measurement Pact With iSpot

National CineMedia, the advertising network that represents more than 20,600 screens in more than 1,650 theaters, has struck a partnership with audience-measurement company iSpot. Under terms of the pact, iSpot technology will be used to deliver analysis of the incremental reach NCM’s in-cinema commercials generate in addition to linear television.

NCM clients will also be able to use iSpot data to generate data on reach, frequency and attribution for their campaigns.

National CineMedia, which puts advertising in movie theaters, said it hired iSpot.tv to measure how many viewers its clients are reaching who didn’t see their commercials on TV.

TikTok and Vizio team up for custom smart TV integration — Sorensen

As highlighted in the Parks Associates’ OTT Video Market Tracker, smart TV manufacturer Vizio has partnered with TikTok to make content available on all Vizio smart TVs. Users can watch videos from TikTok creators directly without the need to download an additional app. TikTok TV content will rotate in a carousel on the Vizio homepage. Vizio TV owners will be able to find videos from TikTok producers and subjects right from the smart TV home screen, without having to sign in or go app diving.
